Pretty Baby

It has been raining for days when Heidi spots a young girl with a baby on the platform. Soaken wet they look lost. Heidi starts to look out for them as she is worries and one day when she sees the girl again she decides to bring her home. Knowing nothing about this girl her husband starts a search for information the girl is not giving. While Heidi tries to get the baby and the girl cleaned up and healthy again Chris finds out the secrets the girl is keeping.

I did not connect with this book at all. Not with Heidi, who was obsessed with the girl and baby. Not with the Willow, whom I experienced as obnoxious if I have to give something she pulled from me. And not with Chris. The emotions of these people where either non existent or to hysterical for me to deal with.
The development in the story is ok. I found the way Heidi evolved a bit weird as she went from a reasonable adult to a person with no reason at all. The changing narrative did not help me get into the story. All characters had their own voice.
