I love mysteries like this. A document with a hunted history. Both the now investigation and the history of the document are told. Both stories work well together.
Julia is really confused most of the book and that is very clear. I did not always enjoy reading her parts as there is a lot of anger and denial. Though pieces do fall together in the end I still had a difficult time dealing with her part.
I totally fell for Lorenzo though. His story is filled with love and romance... well most of it. The balance is great though going from Julia to Lorenzo and back and the way the stories come together is interesting to read.
