WOW. this is an intense read. Following a group of people with their own little or bigger problems. Some connected others less but still they all end up at the same point that one day.
As every person has its own chapter it is pretty easy to keep track of them. The chapters are set in the time of the day too so each story is slowly adding up. Some story need some background information and that is given as thoughts from a person and never confused me.
As I am easily scared by a book with multiple voices I got a bit scared at the start seeing this but it worked really well. Each character had an own voice too making them distinct.
The development of the story id really intense and emotional. A lot of things happen and for me the thing that caught my attention most is the fact you never know what happened to other people in public places that might have triggered something. Little spoiler but there is more than one person on its way to the diner who has the emotional break down needed to do the shooting. This was making sure that I needed to keep on reading knowing what was going to happen.
